SAPHYR THE PROFILED TED
Whether the sound is airy or rough, Saphyr infuses it with the energy and character of its bold lines. Aluminum revives rock, and makes it shine between calm and storm.
NECK
Two species selected from the great variety offered by French forests.
The neck is a multi-ply of maple and walnut, with a section inspired by the famous Modern C. It is therefore robust and provides excellent playing comfort.
The fingerboard, made of Dordogne walnut, has a 12'' radius which accommodates 22 medium frets.
The key finish is done manually with a stamp.
CREL PICKUPS
Its two humbucker-type pickups propel you into a territory between blues-rock and heavy metal.
A winding around Alnico 5 magnets, optimized at 13.5 KOhms, with a wider bandwidth, gives you a wider sound spectrum.
Saphyr's sound surprises with its clarity, which notably allows for crystalline arpeggios.
With a modern sound of a slightly saturated hue, and a higher acidity than Bauxite, Saphyr sounds decidedly more metal.
The sound of your Saphyr's two exclusive microphones can be adjusted using a 3-position selector, a volume button and a tone control equipped with a split so that you can instantly immerse yourself in the sound of the 60s.
ALUMINUM BODY
Lightweight for better playing comfort, it contributes to the sound as much as the look.
The three sound holes of the Ted cases manage to make the guitars sound unplugged without disturbing your neighbors.
As with all guitar cases, aluminum will remember your indiscretions and your belt buckles.
But with the clarity of metal and its reflective power, your Ted guitar will reflect the light, and you'll have a hard time hiding behind its shine.
Depending on your style, you can choose Saphyr in Brute , Siderale, Galaxie or Black finishes.
